2000 Acura Integra B18C5 (North America Type R)/B18C (Japan Type R) (DC2/DB8)
DC2/DB8 / B18C5 (North America Type R), B18C (Japan Type R), B18B1 (other trims N.A.) / The 2000 Acura Integra third generation featured multiple 1.8L DOHC inline-4 engines. The Type R variant (North America B18C5) was the highest performance, delivering high-revving power with VTEC. Other trims used detuned variants such as the B18B1.
2002 Acura Integra K20A/B18C5 (pre-2002 US models) (DC5)
DC5 / K20A, B18C5 (pre-2002 US models) / In 2002, the Integra was available primarily as the third generation DC5 model in Japan and some global markets. Japan featured the K20A 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC inline-4 with around 200+ hp. In North America, the 2002 Integra was discontinued after 2001, so no new 2002 US-market models were sold. Some markets had variations with the previous B18C5 engine. This year marked the transition from second to third generation Integra.
