2006 CADILLAC CTS L37 (2.8L V6)/LS2 (6.0L V8) North America (GMX322)
GMX322 / L37 (2.8L V6), LS2 (6.0L V8) North America, L67 supercharged V6 (2004-05, not 2006) / 2006 CTS offered primarily with 2.8L V6 (L37) and optional 6.0L V8 (LS2) in North America. Some European markets received the 3.2L V6 (LFX) variant. No supercharged V6 in 2006 models.
2009 CADILLAC CTS L77/LSJ (GMX322)
GMX322 / L77, LSJ, L52 / 2009 Cadillac CTS featured multiple engines depending on market: the 3.6L V6 L77 VVT (North America), the 2.8L V6 LP1 (Europe limited availability), and the supercharged 2.0L inline-4 LSJ in the CTS-V Coupe for select markets. Diesel variants were not offered in 2009.
2010 CADILLAC CTS LLT/LFW (GMX271)
GMX271 / LLT, LFW, LY7 / The 2010 Cadillac CTS second generation offered multiple engines globally: North America primarily received the 3.0L V6 (LY7) and 3.6L V6 (LLT) with direct injection and variable valve timing; some export markets had the 2.8L V6 (LFW). All are DOHC engines with aluminum blocks and heads.
2011 CADILLAC CTS LKW/LH7 (GMX322)
GMX322 / LKW, LH7, LY7 / 2011 Cadillac CTS was available primarily with three engines globally: a 3.0L V6 (LY7), a 3.6L V6 (LKW) with improved direct injection and variable valve timing, and a 2.8L V6 (LH7) for select export markets.

2nd Gen (XTS-based platform) / LFW, LTG, LGW / Available engines included a 2.0L LFW turbocharged I4 (approx. 272 hp), a 3.6L LGW naturally aspirated V6 (approx. 335 hp), and a 3.6L twin-turbocharged LTG V6 on CTS-V (approx. 464 hp). Availability varied by market; global markets mostly had the 2.0L and 3.6L variants.
