1999 MAZDA Protege FS-DE/Z5-DE (BJ)
BJ / FS-DE, Z5-DE, Z5-DEL, B6-ME / The 1999 Mazda Protege BJ was offered with several inline-4 engines depending on market: the 1.5L Z5-DE (primarily Japan and some export markets), the 1.6L FS-DE (North America, Europe), and the 1.8L Z5-DEL (Japan and some regions). In selected Asian markets, the older 1.6L B6-ME MI16 engine was also available.
2000 MAZDA Protege FS-DE/ZL-VE (BJ)
