T300 / LUJ I4 (1.4L turbo), LUV I4 (1.8L naturally aspirated) / 2019 Chevrolet Sonic was offered mainly with a 1.4L turbocharged inline-4 engine (LUJ) for US and Canada markets, producing around 138 hp and 148 lb-ft torque. The 1.8L naturally aspirated inline-4 (LUV) was available in some export markets. Both gasoline engines use multi-point fuel injection.
